One of the advantages of being married to Friar Tuck is that he actually uses words like kerfuffle in daily conversation.

Very few of those with whom I interact would be aware of words like kerfuffle or eschew.

Thus the joy of marrying one who has a great vocabulary.

I used “kerfuffle” in conversation the other day, and someone felt compelled to give everyone else a definition.

That’s no cat—only wolverines can kerfuffle like that!

@ grazer - In all the comics I have read, Logan never kerfuffled like that.

That is a cat having a hissy fit.

Cats do that to appear larger than themselves, perhaps to scare away wolverines.

I derive a certain amount of satisfaction by obfuscating my lexicon.
