This is why St. Bernards deliver brandy in those barrels instead of carrying a first aid kit.

When you don’t know what to do with something – play with it!

Don’t stress out, be like a dog. If you can’t eat it or play with it, pee on it and walk away!

The only important thing is whether or not he wakes up in time for chow.

The mall man is really going to be angry when he wakes up. Or he will have amnesia and won’t remember anything. Tomorrow we may know. Y’all have a bountiful day my friends.

Loved today’s strip. Needed it!!! My pooch got attacked and viciously bitten yesterday by one who slipped out of her collar. Police, emergency vet hospital and was able to bring groggy pooch home yesterday afternoon. He is more alert today. A good Samaritan threw himself on attacking dog and pried her mouth open to release my boy’s ear/neck. Stitches come out in 7-10 days. Elderly dog walker could not handle her dog…too powerful…think Spuds MacKenzie.

@daleandkristen: I’m sorry for you. My Yorkie mix has been attacked several times. And all but one time the attacking dog was a Chihuahua. My Yorkie mix weighs about 15 pounds. In each case the Chihuahua lost the fight, but was not seriously injured. God bless you and your pets.
