I often stream but I STILL use a DVD player, too. And I seldom text. But I would love to sit down and chat with Tia Carmen.

I am 36. I have purchased the DVDs of a season of a favorite TV show (PBS mystery series) within the last 3 months (I could watch the DVDs on my computer, Blu-Ray only downstairs), though I do use a streaming service. I send 5 texts a month or so. And if I talk to the other person in this house without dementia for less than 5 minutes it’s because things didn’t line up with caring for the one with it, his work schedule, and my health. And we all sit down and watch those DVDs, one episode a week. And yes, Tia Carmen would be fun to talk to

When I was Baldo’s age we had a 7-inch B/W TV that got three channels from Los Angeles until about 11 p.m. when they had a benediction (prayer), played the National Anthem and went off the air.

I would love to be able to talk to my older family members, most are gone now and I’m not even 40. I have 2 aunts left on my dad’s side out of his 7 siblings. My mom had 7 siblings also but the last one I spoke to passed away last year.

DVD players are still totally relevant you morons!. Um Redbox? Four aisles of them in Best Buy? And libraries big time! Video cassettes would’ve made more sense!
