I homeschooled my kids. We had baseball teams, there is even a homeschool baseball world series. We had proms, very, very nice proms, and other school dances. Band, choir, debate, public speaking, drama, field trips, and other opportunities, all top-notch. I don’t know about football, though. We also had many different choices as far as taking classes in the high school subjects I wasn’t qualified to teach. Here’s a link to a picture from one of the proms a few years back: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10150714009193170&set=a.10150713997648170.392749.552773169&type=3&theater

In most states, home schooled kids are permitted to play on their local school’s teams.

Reminds me of the “Home school senior prom” from a while back. That had me in stitches.
