Imagine. A president who wants to accomplish something. Who wants one of those?
And, Mr. Payne, if we had a president who truly accomplished nothing, wouldn’t you be unhappy?
So, thanks for another of your “Obama wants it so it has to be awful” ’toons.
I read a cartoonist (the “funny paper” kind) describing his job as doing the same thing each day and trying to make it look different. I commend you for doing the former very well.
dear old coal there is a saying if ain’t broke do not fix it // the internet has been a boom as is but it has two flaws - 1] it allows people who do not bho to set up sites 2] it brings in no taxes // solution make miserable regs and grant exemption to those you like
President Obama is doing for Net Neutrality what Franklin Delano Roosevelt (FDR), one of our five greatest Presidents, rightly and correctly did for electrical distribution and access through the Rural Electrification Admin. (REA); for hydroelectricity availability and access to clean water with the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA); for banks with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) that insures bank deposits and supervises state banks thus providing security to and protection for individual savings accounts of the Middle and Working Classes (it still exists), to name a few of FDR’s programs that helped to level the field between the power and rapacious big businesses, banks, Wall Street and that of the Middle and Working Classes in America.
“…..he was one of this Country’s worst Presidents….”.You’re in a teeny, tiny minority in that little nugget – including presidential historians. (Well, except maybe for conservative ideologue deniers.)

0bama is working like mad to destroy this country, of which he has no love. You don’t try to fundamentally change something that you love, Einstein.

So you like the idea of living in a monarchy. Just wait until the Internet becomes so expensive and slow that you will drop it.
