I thought that hats was Tip’s gig.
I understand Sweetheart’s reaction in the 4th panel perfectly. Hats are just the coolest article of clothing there is.
I appreciate the cartoonists not cutting and pasting, but the backgrounds in the third and fourth panels looks so different that I wonder if there’s some mad science at work. For example, those clothes on the hangers shrank several inches.
