Quick comment on The Brownies! My local library (in their storage section) had 2 Brownies books by Palmer Cox (“The Brownies:Their Book” and “Another Brownie Book”). Both are delightful, and the art work is superb. Both are from the late 1800’s. I enjoyed the tales in these books more then the quick stories in the comic strips. So,if you found The Brownies interesting, there is more material out there.
