Miss Bliss is doing all she can to protect her six little wards from the inevitable darkness of speech of Timmy and Jimmy Fretwork! Now they are all—Alice, Marcus, Dill; Beni, Kevin, and Nara—to the wall (or cyclone fence)! Is it enough distance?
In the last panel, everyone is pie-eyed except Alice and Dill. Dill has probably heard worse from his brothers. Alice probably appreciates the excitement.
Well, let’s see, the first symbol probably means “oh my stars!” The lightning bolt is probably an invocation to mighty Thor; the Fretwork brothers are already thorry they took this up and they’ll be thore the next day. The last symbol probably means they drove here in a Saturn. Not sure about the spirally thing. Maybe that’s the one that Miss Bliss didn’t want them to hear.

There’s those inevitable colorful Anglo-Saxonisms. I want all you kids to try to put your elbows in your ears.
