The luge demands quick reflexes, whereas booze slows down reflexes, so Andy would crash into the wall on the first turn. Luckily, his head is hard enough to survive almost anything this side of a Guitar Bob performance…..

Mine is mostly in that time frame but keep an ear to new stuff, just in case..-Oh well, coats come and go..-WHEW ! I sometimes read stuff on music personalities, how-to stuff, COMIC BOOKS :-), The Boulder Weekly free paper (with no-holds barred language) and have a copy of “Naked Lunch” which I am coming up on halfway through. Consumer Reports magazine and DAV magazine. Some fantasy (fiction) now and again. -He doesn’t forget what’s important. I thought he was going to get stuck going out the way Homer would, with a lot of grunting.-I am not “throwing away” the Tahoe which has crested 260,000 miles and runs like a top.-Dude ! I am so sorry about your alleged “job placemat”. In the old days people apprenticed to learn a trade. Now-a-times fast food joints and other “entry level” jobs is where people go. I joined the military which can teach you a trade as well as other nifty things you can use in life, not to mention being around older people and learning from them. If you got work at one of the stables grooming the horses and cleaning up (some yuck) that would be something to build on as work experience goes.He sounds like he wants to help, so keep on with it. I am still wishing you the best at finding something you can jive with. ;-) -Wishing you a terrific Thursday !__________________________________________________
I also like some of today’s music. This is a song from 2008 and I love it! Link-Until I discovered GoComics, I had no interest in comic strips. Only Andy Capp. Now I comment on 9 strips a day.-“Naked Lunch” That’s quite an…umm… impressive name! I read fictional stories about dilemmas (E.g. Divorce, Death, Relationships, Friendships) I also read magazines with real life stories in them. Some of the stories are really tragic.I also have the whole collection of “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” -That’s the sort of thing Andy Capp would do too! -I’m not a dude but…. Oh forget it. Thank you so much for your kind comment! I’ve been trying for apprenticeships as well but I can’t get them either. I have been asked for interviews a couple of times though. The last apprenticeship I applied for turned out to be withdrawn. I applied for another one at my college on Tuesday which was the same day I got the bad news about my Work Placement. I might as well keep trying because there’s nothing more I can do. I am pleased that the military was a wonderful experience for you. The stables I go to is private property so I can’t really get a job there.-Guess what the man is called who is helping me with everything? Andrew! (Andy) How perfect. He has been an amazing help to me. He has other clients as well, I’ve met 2 of them. No doubt he’s a great help to them too. Thanks for your sweet comment. Do you want to make a song request for tomorrow? -Try and avoid a Thirsty Thursday!
@FANOLIOThanks for your comment yesterday, I too was a bit concerned when I saw my heart rate was at 105 bpm. It actually was my resting heart rate because I was just sitting at my computer before I got my blood pressure taken. I wasn’t doing anything active.
I know all about the Systolic/Diastolic stuff. My blood pressure is mostly in the HIGH-NORMAL range.
If my Dad has to take his blood pressure again tonight, I’ll ask him if I can get mine done again. I’ll post my results here like I did last night.
P.S. I have to post your requested song as a link. GoComics has disabled the embedded videos.
All TV and computer monitors use Red, Green, and Blue electron guns (older TV’s and monitors) or now days LCD’s generating those three colors. The mixtures of those three colors make all the colors you see on the screen. In regards to the adapter above, you are taking a VGA plug (the bulky one) and extracting just those three signals. Three of the pins on the VGA plug carry the signals. If you are also wanting sound you will need something like an old stereo that accepts sound inputs and take two RCA plug cables (usually red and white) and run them from the cable box to the stereo.
Yeah, those retaining screws are the pits. They were easy to strip or if screwed into the nuts wrong, which the nuts themselves were screwed in would cause the whole assembly to lock up and make it nearly impossible to get off. From a retired IT support and repair point-of-view. ;-) This plug was designed, if your video card in your PC supported TV video out, to put the signal to a regular TV rather than a monitor.

Will it be a good thing if Andy ends up like Georgian Olympic luger Nodar Kumaritashvili (1988-2010)?

What input ports are on the monitor?
