I’m glad JJ put Gene in a “pickup truck” and not a four door, four wheel drive luxury station wagon with an open box that passes for a truck nowadays. (God forbid if the bed got a scratch in it.) Thanks JJ.

Gene is their Son. He has moved away from home and is a frequent visitor on the strip.

Janis has had a child. Janis is no longer a young thing. (Which is not to say she has lost her charms.)

Tickle her too much and you may get something you weren’t counting on.

So how probing will Arlo’s questioning be?

I hate it when people play the ‘guessing’ game when they want to tell you something. My answer to Janis would have been, “Secret’s should be kept.” Then on Meg’s birthday I could be suprised with her.
