A bunch of local jock-nuts just put together a 20 thousand dollar plus renovation of the football stadium—which is OK—meanwhile the Science teacher with 32 students, 28 science books, 30 seats and 32 students assigned. What’s wrong with that picture?

That would require teachers to get paid on merit. The teachers unions want none of that.
