For the umpteenth time, I think on this strip (it gets tiring, Mr. Hinds — give it up, PLEASE), as long as Pete Rose is on the Permanently Ineligible List (some, like Willie Mays and Mickey Mantle, have later been removed from the list; but, unlike Rose, I don’t know they ever agreed to be added to it), a declaration he, himself, signed, he is ineligible for the HOF (search for 1991).

Lighten up @mabrndt, as someone with no particular opinion on the matter I see it as just being played for laughs here.
