Long ago, when even I was young, there was a TV sitcom, “The Life of Riley” starring William Bendix in the title role. His signature line from that show would be a perfect fit here:“What a revoltin’ development this is!”
You newer readers recognise Shallow Breast Guy?LOL…At the time this caricature ran originally, he and Paige both worked for Charles Schulz Creative Associates…as well as already having become established cartoonists in their own rights.
The fact that his strip is more popular provoked a friendly rivalry, and a lot of teasing.
Navy Seal, yeah right, may have the mind set but definitely not the body muscles. Only person that could possibly have a claim to that is Kristin Beck, born Christopher Beck she became a Navy Seal and upon retirement has become a transgender. One great sailor and person.
