When I was stationed in Thailand my friend and I went to a local Thai festival. There was an elephant ride there. You could ride an elephant around a soccer field. We negotiated a price of around a dollar with the trainer, jumped on board, and away we went. Half way around the field the trainer stopped the elephant, and told us that for another dollar he’d take us back! It really was hilarious, and of course we came up with the extra monet.
