Rip Haywire by Dan Thompson for April 11, 2015
Transcript:
Breezy: So I gave Uncle Spur that weird cat statue. What's the big deal? Was it worth a lot on ebay? Rip Haywire: Breezy, it is a magical totem that let's it's owner get away with anything scot-free! Breezy: C'mon, Rip, this looks more like a minor catastrophie, at most a small cataclysm.

You’ll need to CATalog all the CATastrophes and CATaclysms that can happen with Rip and the kitty at large.

In my opinion Uncle Spur (and Frank) could use the benefits the kitty could bring. They are both total losers and could use a little edge now & then. Breezy is so pregnant … It’ll be cool to see these two being parents.

I’m as over Breezy as one can get. Got to figure a way to get her out of the strip. Thank God she hasn’t invaded the Sunday strip.

Really, Breezy? That’s the CATegory you’d put this under?

Well, I love Breezy. But I think her pregnancy was ill-advised, so the subsequent storyline – where Rip and Breezy meet again in an alternate universe – is where the strip should remain. And the small-town action – meh. Keep him traveling and fighting in jungles.
