Frazz: Nice! Girl: They're for Mother's day. Frazz: Mother's day was last Sunday. Girl: Uh-huh. I was born a week overdue. Frazz: That really shouldn't work, but somehow it does. Girl: And you wouldn't believe the money I save on these. Boy: Shoot. If I'd known then what I know now... Mr. Spaetzle: I was late for my wedding, and that doesn't help me on anniversaries.

Being born a week over due should mean your birthday party is a week late. Nothing to do with Mother’s Day (unless you were due the second Sunday of May).

My mom was late for her wedding. Dad wasn’t concerned: He and the priest were in the sacristy listening to the Army-Navy game on the radio waiting for her.

Principal Spaetzel must be my long lost twin brother. We look similar and even our dog’s look similar. Only differences are that I wear a beard as well as the moustache and I am thinner now (about 10 years ago I of a similar girth though).
