I realize it’s all cartoon physics, but it just hit me, Charlie Brown must be pitching against monsters. Even a gentle underhand pitch wouldn’t enable a kid to hit with that kind of power.
I think in the book the monies took all the Scarecow’s clothes and threw them up in a tree. At least they they don’t have to re-stuff CB before redressing him.
