Some nights I can’t keep up with y’all, and some of you gots 25-30 years on me.

LW, I have two suggestions First, keep a bit of child in your heart. Don’t lose the wonder and curiosity about the world around you. Be aware of it.

Second, and I speak from my own experience, spend time with younger people. From ‘98 til ‘06 most of the people I hung out with were in their 20s and 30s. They accepted me, and I thrived on their energy.

I will be back among them this September, and I am so looking forward tp it!!!

Thank you, Shirttail Slim. Funny you should mention those two suggestions. I practice both of those almost to the letter! And I agree with you wholeheartedly, sir.

Marg: I hope I am close to one of the good ones. :^) And I never stop trying to get better. Just a little duct tape on the ol’ pie hole helps!

Here’s another one for you outdoor lovers. “A Place I Go”.

There’s a place I go when I feel that need to be off somewhere alome. A place where though I hold no title, in my heart is my very own. There’s a spot off the road and over a ridge, a secret hidden dell Where the good clean air and nature’s aromas cast a quiet peaceful spell. There a trickle of water that whispers and gurgles it’s way down a gravely bed, With trees all about and a grand old oak with massive arms outspred There’s a carpet of moss that’s green and soft along that little stream Where one might lie and rest, maybe conjure up a pleasant dream. Yes there’s a place I go when I fwwl that need to be somewhere alone,And I’m not showing it to anyone ‘cause I need it for my very own.

They are a ways off so its not as often as I like.

    love ‘em all.

    Oh yes, GOOD MORNING EVERYBODY!

Leaky - Thanks for the affirmation - Sock Puppets Rule!!

Now, concerning the discussion about rerunning the Harold Gray strips. I don’t think that’s going to happen because of copyright infringement. But maybe GoComics can rerun the Leonard Starr strips. Heck, that’s almost 20 years of Annie right there.

I had the same thought as dkram, that Junior was just stunned and he’ll be able to tell them where his dad is going. However, I’m sure the camera has to figure into this somehow, unlike DT where red herrings flop all over the place.” If you show a gun in Act 1, you had better use it in Act 2,” or however that saying goes. “Always leave them begging for more..” that seems to be the writers’ motto here. A good one, but sad for us.

I’m going to greatly miss this strip, too.

Instead of dropping it at some arbitrary date, I wish they’d hold off until this storyline plays out to the end. It’s very interesting as they all are, and I’d sure like to see it finish before the strip is gone for good.

Got a quickie before I go, and no, not that kind of quickie!

When in doubt, I often shout, my frustrations with a curse, Only to find out, if I’d just looked about, thing really could have been worse.

Have a great day and, see everyone this afternoon.

As was nentioned, Jr. just might not be dead. But with his “cards missing brain”, what could he do. And if he’s alive and taken, would he tell them where Papa went? Could he even lead them there and most importantly of all, how long will it take the boat to get a mile out???

I’m back to my apartment hale and hearty and am my normal feisty self. I’m doing to go get my daily conics fix and come back. Sure hope someine’s around to talk with. Or does everybody take afternoon maps in preparation for the ?:15 time?

OMG! WW is in a hermetically sealed chamber? Jeez, I sure hope it’s a big one. what with the hyper-ventilating that composing causes, air can be used up fairly fast.

    Sabbatical? Where did he go?

Don’t volunteers get a gift of some sort? Doesn’t have to be much, you know, maybe a small Mercedes or something?

Haven’t seen ‘Dead Girl’ You can watch Japanese horror movies as well as older American ones on YouTube. They show them in 10 minute segments.
