    Nothing unusual about Butyric acid in food. Strangely, it gives all kinds of foods their deliciousness.

    For example: strong cheeses owe their sharpness to butyric acid.

    Chocolate is a new one for me, but then American tastes are different to tastes in Australia. shrug

    The butyric acid thing could be true simply because it is found in low concentrations in milk. Implying that it is added as a flavoring agent is someone disingenuous.

    Two things helped nail the lid on the Polish jokes coffin: Pope John Paul II was Polish and the Solidarity labor movement. Gdansk used to be called Danzig when it was German territory.
