How did Coach Lombardi’s jacket get into a Good Will store?! As for less weight at the equator, how so? If I weight approximately 160 lbs. above or below the equator, how much would I be thereon?

It’s really due to the fact that the earth bulges slightly at the equator, so you are slightly further away from the center of mass.

But you are correct in a way, because the bulge is due to the rotation of the earth…

The story about Lombardi’s sweater is ironic. Here is another: when MGM was getting ready to start production on “The Wizard of Oz”, a wardrobe man went to a second hand clothing store trying to find a frock coat for Frank Morgan’s character of Professor Marvel/the Wizard. He found one, bought it and returned to the studio with it. A short time later, it was discovered that the frock coat had belonged to L. Frank Baum, the author of the Oz books.

I used to work for a company that made truck and heavy equipment scales. Each scale was shipped with a calibration chart for weight (mass) differences in different geographical locations. There are zones of weight variation parallel to the equator, but like magnetic compass deviations, they are not straight lines. I have forgotten the numbers, but Robert D. says that it is 5.5 oz per 100 lbs. so multiply that by thousands of pounds and you can have significant differences.

Odd how humans have now evolved enough to have self-healing teeth, or at least have an endless supply of replacements like some other animals.

If teeth healed on their own (or if we kept on growing new ones)who would dentists overcharge?

I have healed my teeth. A lot of stress deteriorates them and getting away from that job you hate is the beginning of deeper oxygenation and healing every part of yourself. I am going to email the oxygen man Ed McCabe and see if he has and documentation for teeth regeneration.

Maybe teeth can’t heal, but they can sure hurt!
