Why does Danae hold big shovel? I think she uses it to scrape the manures off and dump in the trash bag.

I think all that junk is Danae’s. Lucy has to much class to make a mess in the house.

is this sudden urge of Joe’s for Danae to join the civilized world part of the influence of Victoria? Might this be the begining of the end for Danae’s “adventures”?

Al Edison is rumored to have said “All you need to invent is lots of imagination, and a Big Pile of Junk!”

I’ve got the junk, now when can I get the imagination?

“Tomato” derives from an Aztec word “tomatl,” which does have an “ah” sound. The correct pronunciation is, indeed, “tuh-mah-toh.”

Hey, smizzlybob. Right about tuh-mah-toh – had English not experienced the Great Vowel Shift beginning in the 1400s. A-words got to remain “ah” on the Continent but became “ay” in England. I’ve never made peace with it, but it is what it is.
