Coming Soon đ At the beginning of April, youâll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
No one wants to see you in Concussion City, Bill. Thatâs why you wear a helemt when playing football, riding a bike, at a construction site, anywhere that requires a helmet.
Bill was never one of the smart ones.
Wasnât he re-taking some course or other for the Nth time last year?
Anyway, he had enough sense to get himself into Deloresâ remedial class, and I got the impression it was intentional. Nobody would suspect that plot with Bill - theyâd just expect him to be in that class.
these are repeats - you can find âtodayâsâ strip on this website at 23 sept 2007 (you can use the little âcalendarâ icon at the topâŚ) - you could run through the entire history of Barkeater lake from the beginning, if you want (it took a few weeks, but I did it - lots of fun)
@JAD - is that what that thing that looks like a towel on the back of his neck is for? Thanks - I didnât know that - sort of like the head-restraint on a car seat?
bmonk - Iâd be surprised if his friend didnât already know what R-U-L-E spells.
zev - itâs convenient to know how to find exactly what in the archive. Thanks.
Iâm wondering:
If BL strips stop appearing on GoComics, as they have in the past couple of days, will they reappear on BarkeaterLake.com ? That would make the archive even more convenient.
rac0308 - how paying $10/year makes me a âgeniusâ is beyond me⌠I think the word they were looking for was âsuckerââŚ
I think they recently (few months ago?) changed the rules around here, allowing ordinary folks (those smart enough not to blow ten bucks to be able to read the comicsâŚ) to access the full archive.
I just logged out and went to that 23 sept 2007 strip. gocomics let me see the strip, but wouldnât let me comment. please try it and let me know if it works (I think the âgeniusâ badge just lets you comment on comics older than two weeks, which isnât all that much of a privilege, considering that even two-day-old comics donât get much trafficâŚ).
Which leaves me wondering⌠why am I still paying the ten bucks?

Our state has no motorcycle helmet law. We used to have no bike insurance law. Lawyers had a field day.

by the way he shows he knows what r-u-l-e spells i think heâs been playing without a helmut for a while.

Many years ago, a friend who raced cars for a hobby showed me his helmet, and I was surprised to hear that it cost $200.
He said the price of the helmet should be proportional to the value of the head.

âFootball Playerâ + âThinkingâ = either an oxymoron or a dangerous combination.

@Avon, what frightens me is that heâs explaining the matter to player number 2âŚwhich may indicate Bill is the smart one here.

what part of âFrom the Beginningâ did you not understand???

Maybe âfromâ etsisk ?
âk Mr Pandolph- you donât have to release updates anymore, I just finished reading it all. Too bad, I really enjoyed this strip.
If you have it all in a book, that would be something I would consider, tho.
Hopefully you wonât get bored with Toby anytime soon.

rac, There are indeed books - two so far, and one in production. Check out the Fake Rockstar website for more about Coreyâs stuff.
