Looks like Lucy want’s to miss too in that last panel.

Linus’ and Charlie Brown’s wrists and Lucy’s feet and lungs must be getting tired.

Remember the ’ol football gag Charlie Brown?

Good old wishy washy Charlie Brown.

I’ve been in similar situations so many times! I can relate!

C’mon, Charlie Brown, think how Linus must feel…

10,000 and counting and Lucy still can’t miss!

I’d take the rope and tie Lucy up with it.

Pretending to sneeze would work. Or, do what I always do….just say, “I think I hear my mother calling me!”

Coincidentally, ten thousand is the number of times in a row that Lucy beat Charlie Brown at checkers…….How many of us would love to see somebody clothes-line Lucy?

Charlie Brown has a severe hang up, and just can’t come to grips with the situation at hand…

I wonder what Linus is thinking…

Here’s the chance that CB can get payback with Lucy for her football gags. THROW HER OFF HER COUNT!!

Just miss for goodness sake!

A – Linus and Charlie Brown should start calling out random numbers.

B – As many times as she pulled the football on Charlie Brown and bullied her little brother, they should at least trip her if not tie her up in the rope.

C – Maybe next time they should just say no and CB should get Linus to hold the football.
