Arlo: What are you thinking about so hard?
Janis: I was thinking of a dance when I was in the 9th grade - there was a boy.
Janis: He was older than I was! I wanted him to ask me to dance, but he never did!
Arlo: Are you serious?!
Arlo: He didn't ask you!?

I do not think Arlos’ recovery is going get past her. If he is lucky her brooding will buy him time.

She’s way past the limit for obsessing over what happened in high school.

Life is full of small regrets. To Arlo’s credit, Janis is so beautiful he can’t imagine anyone not wanting to be with her. So count your blessings too.

@Gokie5“Heck, I can obsess over something that happened in kindergarten!".I never went to kindergarten, but still remember first grade.I dropped my coloring book. A kid named Henry snatched it up and proclaiming, “Finders keepers, losers sweepers.”I had heard the expression, so I thought it must be a law.On the other hand, I couldn’t see how simply dropping something equated to losing it.I wanted to explain the error in his reasoning, but he ran off before I had a chance.
