What wonderful manners, Mrs. Howell! Like the story of Queen Victoria who, when a foreign guest mistakenly drank from his or her fingerbowl and shocked all the very proper guests, promptly picked up her own bowl and drank from it to save her guest from embarrassment. The rest of the table, of course, immediately followed her example. That is the example “plus perfect” of hospitality. Like offering part of your lawn to your Unicorn guests.
