Love the line, “please don’t you bother my wife” and the next line should be “that way I won’t catch no hell.”
Reminds of my neighbor’s dogs; the little one was the yappy bossy alpha while the much bigger, quieter dog put up with it.
The phrase is “Stick a fork in him.” It refers to a method of testing the degree of “doneness” of meat by examining the juices it exudes.
The first time I heard the phrase , Tiger Williams an NHLer, said “stick a fork in them, they’re done like dinner” re: playoff series.
