We remember what we want to remember and Gina, it’s your own fault for not specifying which Boston Massacre.

Gina, look on the bright side, at least he knows some of his history ;) even if it’s about baseball. Jeez that must have been a harsh game… D:

She’s got her Massacre, he’s got his. The “massacree” I always remember is Alice’s Restaurant. Everyone’s got their own, I reckon!

Nate’s description of the Boston Massacre reminds me of my description of the Chicago Dumpster Fire. The Chicago Cubs were welcoming the St. Louis Cardinals after previously blowing a big division lead earlier in the season. At the time, the Cards were three games up on both the Brewers and Cubs entering this four-game series in Wrigley Field from September 19th-22nd. St. Louis won all four games, (all by one run apiece) highlighted by Cubs reliever Craig Kimbrel choking away an 8-7 lead in the top of the ninth on two consecutive pitches by allowing the game-tying and go-ahead homers during game three. This was part of a 9-game September losing streak by the Cubs that abruptly ended their playoff hopes. St. Louis, however, won the NL Central Division and we Cards fans celebrated KO-ing the Cubs.
