He sure squirmed outta that one!
I’d still look out for the big gal with the club…
The early bird gets the worm, the early worm gets eaten.
If it wakes me up the early bird gets the bird.
Hmm I don’t see a problem here, the bird clearly understood the worm. Maybe I just don’t get it?
Let’s just be grateful there wasn’t a spider today!
May the bluebird of happiness fly up your nose…

I’ve loved B.C. Since I was young. I really enjoyed it when Johnny Hart was alive. He was awesome. However, I think his predecessors have consistently improved on his works. Congratulations on making the most of a great strip.
Did you see the movie “Dune”?Frank Herbert wrote the books it was taken from.
The picture is of a spice worm which in Frank Herbert’s Dune makes space travel possible, among other things. It’s a great story.
The early bird gets the worm(so don’t be the early worm)But the second mouse gets the cheese!
The second mouse gets the cheese.
I’ve never heard of anyone getting nauseous from seeing a painting of a Dune sandworm until now.
and yet the worm has a vague notion of the cliche
