Long story short: A friend of mine threatened to make liver and onions at a rehearsal, to which I replied, “And you can forget your act.” When I went to dinner at the college dining hall that evening — liver and onions. I opted for a couple cheeseburgers.
It’s only two months away: the hot dog eating contest on July 4 in New York. It’s probably not the right time of year for such a hot dog vendor to offer Joey Chestnut his unsold hot dogs from a baseball game.
