The loo? Probably a lot shorter than the German word. I still call it a “head” from my Navy days.Joke from an Alexis A. Gilliland novel: Upon hearing of a general who committed suicide, shooting himself in a restroom, a Navy captain commented, “That’s the Army for you: an admiral would have shot himself in the head.”
