Peter should’ve retired 5 years ago, before he went batty.

Working 48 years at the Post Office will do that.

Roland has had to ease into retirement…

He’s always been a serious person, and a hard worker.

Even his hobbies were hard work….

Retirement wasn’t even something he contemplated…until one day…

He still works hard…but not every day….he takes more breaks, and even allows himself the occasional flight of fancy…which Evelyn has always encouraged…

But now she wonders if one of these days, he’s going to go too far.

Once again, these comics are links back to their original dates and forums… if you’d like to time-travel, I suggest right-clicking and opening in a new window.

In an ancient “Beetle Bailey,” Gen. Halftrack screamed he’d had it with the Army and was going to retire. Ms. Buxley looked out the window and said, “He really doesn’t mean it.” “How can you tell?” she was asked. She replied, “Because he’s burning his papers in triplicate.”

Shika.. .Yes, thank you! In fact, . I thanked you late on that days forum…. right before the turn, I think, AND on the next day’s, right afterward….and later I asked whether you saw it…I guess you don’t check back very often!_______________

Really I do try to check, but I get lost in the videos and stuff, and then I wander off down memory lane and lose it. My memory, I mean. I am glad you got my disguise. I worked hard to find one that no one would recognize! :-)

Six, I am glad you post here too. I had no idea how easy it is to lose someone on this site by just shortening your queue. It is nice to know that people are looking out for you though, isn’t it?(What did you do wrong? lol)

Bev… thank you, but…I’m afraid if they fit YOU, those shoes would be far too big for me.

(Oh yeah… she’s three sizes smaller than me … my…. er… my…. well, my foot! Her big toe wouldn’t fit in my dainty little glittery shoe.)
