Actually, a well maintained lawn releases a great deal of oxygen into the atmosphere after absorbing a comparable amount of co2!
And this is on top of the filtering effect a lawn has in trapping fine particulates from the air passing over it…
give me a nice meadow of wildflowers anyday…but it’s against the law in almost every town and city…and they’d force you to mow it when it reaches 6 inches anyway
Man is the only animal that plants a crop he can’t eat and still has to mow twice a week.
