Another rerun, it seems. Still pretty darn funny even the second (or more) time round. Make it easy on the rich! Now THAT is ‘rich’!

We go that far on vacation to be sure we aren’t any where near the Penny’s on their vacation.I wouldn’t want anyone to think I knew them just because I live in the same town.“The Penny’s? No they aren’t neighbors, they live waaaay over on the other side of the tracts”“Iv’e never met them, never saw them before, don’t know who they are They did what? Noooo never heard of them”

Gonna stretch the clearance twin sheet to fit a full bed, huh? Good luck with that. Isn’t that their clothing philosophy as well? Although “full” doesn’t quite measure up.

As a store manager I was subjected to… I mean, of course, generously given some training sessions in retail management… And what Marlene is saying is actually true!

Not only expensive brands at eye level, and cheap brands where you have to search for them…. but you’re taught to put larger sizes on the right cos the majority of shoppers are right-handed, and find the right-hand bottle or package easier to grab.

Some stores now put their own generic next to the advertised brand…. but if they follow the merchandising rules I learned, they put them on the left of it…so that the easiest thing to grab is still the largest size of the advertised brand.

Yup 90% of our shopping time is spent on looking for the better cheaper brands. Not all cheap is better though , like TP or dish soap. Thanks Susan for the tip.

……or they could saw the bed down the middle with a chainsaw, remove a section (remember, guys: measure twice, cut once!) and then glue it back together with aerosol spray adhesive to make it fit the twin set….Penny-wise!!

They sleep in a full size bed?? With their girth I would think they’d need a King or at least a Queen. Do they even sell “full” size beds anymore??
