Actually it is pretty spot on, Gluten is the new “designer” disease, apparently. However it is a real auto-immune disease with no cure except avoidance. If this forum helps to get the word out and makes people aware, well YAYYou have no idea how many people are clueless, I’ve been asked if I can have milk, sugar, salt etc.The chef (a chef!) tell me I couldn’t have the mashed potatoes because all white food contained gluten.We’ve come a long way in the 35 years since I was diagnosed, and we still have a long way to go!

i think the target is the vast majority who blame gluten for everything else. celiacs are comparatively rare in the anti-gluten world.
