…I stopped reading Overboard a while ago, because it was completely taken over by mice (or rats…) I hope this comic isn’t going to be taken over by the fleas :(

That last picture is a hoot! Poor boy – and he’s a big one like our Moose.

The stray, ( a very young kitty) my friend took in had her babies yesterday. FIVE healthy kittens.

If anyone knows someplace in southern/central KY where she can get help with spays when it time, would you let me know? She lives in a tiny place called Liberty and there is nothing there.

The person who found her in her pasture told Corrine to “just take her. I don’t want her or her babies”. Now, she says she wants the mama back. Corrine told her NO. Now that she’s been cared for in the house, there is no way she’s sending her outside again. And, none of them are leaving until they are fixed had had shots.

So Dogsniff is back? Yeah!

While I was typing, Corrine called. She said she has talked to that person in Liberty and all he does is pick up animals from the streets and take them to the shelter to be put down.

So, back to square one.

I know of an organization called PAWS New England www.pawsnewengland.com, but they mainly rescue dogs, occasionally cats. If you get in touch with them, they may know someone who could take cats. My cousin has done some transport for them; in fact, she transported a mom and four adorable kittens on their way to a rescue in New Hampshire on Sunday – Mother’s Day!

Why do we fall short of our furry-purrers high expectations of us?..Because we think they look cute!!..

My son showed me the cutest video clip tonight, which I can’t find, but I have found info on these 2 lovely creatures. Anyone savvy enough can find more I am sure, but you all have to google OSIRIS AND RIFF RAT! Osiris is a Therapy Dog and Riff Rat is a RESCUED Pet Rat. And THEY ARE THE BEST OF FRIENDS! IT IS ADORABLE! They live in Chicago.
