Honey: Sir, I've been picking up some shipboard grumbling. Some of the passengers are beginning to wonder why we haven't arrived yet... Duke: Oh, for crying out loud! What do they want? It's a 6,000-mile voyage to The Falklands! They can't expect me to be right on the money! Take the wheel, Honey! I'm going down there to set these people straight! Honey: Um... wait a minute, sir. What course should I steer? Duke: Whatever. Be right back. Honey: "Whatever?"

I entered Whatever in Google maps and came up with Whatever Tattoo on St. Marks Place, NYC.

Based on Duke’s bearings, I’m beginning to see the problem.

Actually it’s more like 9,000 miles from Miami to the Falklands by boat, since you have to go around Brazil.

Cruising at 18 knots, that boat would be lucky to have fuel enough for 600 miles. I expect they will run out of fuel any minute now.

It’s only supposed to be a three hour tour…what could possibly happen??

Oops — shouldn’t the course heading be “steer whatever by thataway”?

(Continuing a line of thought from yesterday – thank you @Mountaingreenery)
No, they’re certainly not on the HMS Troutbridge, but would they run into her in the Falklands? Or more likely, vice versa, very literally? Assuming someone in the Admiralty is fool enough to send Troutbridge TO the Falkland conflict? Oh, dear…
Putting aside that disturbing thought, here’s another disturbing thought – I wonder if Duke is a distant relation to the Pertwee clan?
Why, yes, I listen to BBC Radio online. How did you guess?

…and if we swerve by Monte Carlo, let’s stop for a bit. I’ve got some … stuff … we gotta do there…
