My 1st dog, Tassel, a cat named Flimsy, The best cat ever, Booner, A dog Paki, Many pet rats, Skeeki, Mickey, dear Mickey, and Marnix, and the Christmas rat that showed up behind my friends toilet, apparrently flushed, but happy. My best rat Teevy, and the 3 ferrets, Scotty, Slinky and Red.
May you hurt less in the days to come and keep your precious Tommy your hearts, and know he and others are at the rainbow bridge, waiting for you, when the time comes.
I stand with you, having just (four months back) lost my little kitty, just after his neutering… I still dream of him – and most of the 40-plus cats we had over as many years of my life. They come, they go, and they take a bit of us with them – but then, they leave a bit of them with us too…
I’m sorry for the loss of your family member. When the time is right, remember there is another loving cat or kitten in a shelter looking for a home just like yours! God Bless.
I always wished they would die in their sleep so I would not have to be the one to make the decision to have that done………HATE is such a mild word to describe what it really feels like……
The pain never goes away. I still talk to and dream about them. I don’t handle EOL situations well but handle empty nest syndrome even worse. Open your heart to another fur kid, it helps.
