Flea collars are always an option, but it’s so hard to get them on the little buggers.

Just a quick update on the foster girls. I was gone all afternoon but there was a message on the machine from Kathi. She was calling for an update on the cats and to give me her new phone number.

1. she lost all rights to info on those cats the minute she signed the surrender papers.

2. I have lost all respect for her and have no interest in a new phone number.

I realize that sounds mean and unforgiving. Too bad.

My little boy foster is lonely. I keep taking Moose in there and Jack comes out purring and rubs all over Moose. Tomorrow, Susan is going to bring me another 6 month old kitty to see how they are together. (both have been fixed) I hope they like each other because he wants company.

Last time I heard that, it was said by Jack Benny.

Todays Random Sweetness may be put off by my own grrrrs, growls and hisses. Q of A’s neighbor just made me put my claws out and flex them. Good thing I dont live close by, or the Sherriff would be called out probably. But, I am here to enjoy the wonder that are our favorite kitties, smile and laugh at the foibles of cats and their owners, and not growl and hiss, so -Here is:Todays Random Sweetness -

Rikkie Tavi: TY – I wrote down the website and will check it out.

SallyLin: I sent an email to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary asking for advice. I know they have partners all over the US so maybe one will be in KY, or even TN or OH or IN.

Wet and Soggy: Halle tolerates her sister but thinks she should be an only child.

There was one more but I forgot to write down who posted it: the info about the Woodstock animal rescue link. Will check it out, too.

Finally, Corrine is trying to find a transport for them but so far no luck.

Interestingly, on our way back from the cat swap with Jessegooddoggy, we were behind an SUV that had a CAT TRANSPORT sign on the doors. I remember they were from out of state but now where. We saw them just north of Mesquite NV as we were approaching the Virgin River Gorge heading up in to Utah.

2old & Wet & Soggy – what great pictures. I love the innocent cats on the observation post and how could Grumpy Cat not absolutely love that kitten. They are all so cute. Rikki Tavi – sure makes you wonder what that cat is thinking.

The “box cat” looks like Moose. He will somehow squeeze his big old body where it shouldn’t fit.

LOVE the sweater cat! That was my LOL for today.

I have never seen a cat slurp up spaghetti like that.

Susan brought the little companion for the orange kitty over a while ago. It took about 2 minutes for the new girl to crawl into the tube and snuggle with One Eyed Jack.

The story of Halle and Mitzi just got worse. When I asked about their beds and food both Kathi and the shelter person said nothing was taken. Want to know why?? Because she took them to the vet to be put down! He wouldn’t do it and called the shelter and told her to take them there. OMG! I’m staring to think there is something mentally wrong with her at this point. She’s old – how about we just take HER to the vet for the big shot? I found out because Susan went in and read the surrender papers.

On the upside, they both let me use the new brush on them. I got enough fur to make a few more cats! All I have to do is form it into a ball and glue on some eyeballs and ears.

I used the wire side – wow!! LOTS of hair. Once Halle let me brush her, then we were new bffs.

Eldo, Thanks for posting that photo at the of last night! I hope people check out that totally AWESOME story of love and friendship between Osiris and Riff Rat.

Love the pics today. And today’s strip. Tomorrow’s should be even more interesting! :-D

@QueenJUST got on-line for the first time today. Listen, Kathi had better watch her back because IF I find out her whereabouts she is in DEEP trouble. Heartwarming to hear that Halle let you brush her. As for the fur ball….why not have it delivered to Kathi and request it be served in her next meal. Now I fear for the 3rd cat she took with her!

@QOAAm happy that OEJack has a new little friend!!!!! Any chance of a picture? Maybe they will be adopted as a ‘team’ into a loving forever home in near future. Thank you for all you do for needy kitties. Bet even Chesney would agree!
