Please! Times have changed. My brother and his wife, both teachers, have done quite well for themselves.
They still have paychecks? I was shocked in the mid 1990s when I saw that my American colleagues received actual, physical paychecks, sounds so 1950s, lol.
Average starting salary for teachers with a bachelor degree is over $37,000 for 180 days work. One of the highest paid per day jobs in the US.
….and the decimal point IS in the wrong place. It should be one more space to the left.
