I used to be able to pull off a Fro for the same reason. One night the banquet waitresses I worked with decorated my hair with about a hundred of those frilled cocktail toothpicks…..Very colorful….
I had forgotten until just now. In elementary school, we once made a hair hygrometer for a class project. We didn’t need an i-phone, a computer, or a kit to do it. We used everyday items, and the teacher showed us how. And even though we used a human hair, we didn’t have to have it professionally sterilized or checked for any contaminants.
Point 1 — Still enjoying a bit of May-Grey here in SoCal, but would love to get some of the precipitation hitting our friends to the east. This drought is getting tough.Point 2 — s/n origins: Middle name, favorite number, hometown.Point 3 — Hands-on learning is the best. I would love to have a nice Van Graaf generator in my Science classroom and build a frizzy-hair chain.Point 3a — be sure to include two dashes in your entry to avoid strikeoutsCheers

As much as I hate humid weather (who doesn’t?), I am hoping for lots of thunderstorms this summer in our parched West.

Anyone else think that Mallet should give names to some of the kids other than Caufield?
I think that a few more characters would help give the strip a bit more depth.

We just did it, had fun, and learned something.

I think this strip is meant for adults. This kid doesn’t get the joke . . .

Me, too, kid. My hair gets curly when it’s humid. My pup gets frizzy fur on her ears. Looks like I took a crimping iron to them, but I didn’t.
