White Castle is an American regional fast food hamburger restaurant chain located in the Midwestern and Mid-Atlantic United States, generally credited as the first fast food chain in the US. It is known for its small, square hamburgers. Sometimes referred to as “sliders”.

Not for the faint of heart.

Then there’s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dCqKl4Q3hW4 , which smacks of urban legend.

What? No one remembers “pink slime”? That was the mystery meat they outlawed about a year ago. It was made up of what they could scrape off the bones and so forth. It was being sold to school cafeterias and fast food suppliers. Really gross.

I don’t know about the rest of you, but a trip to pick up a bag of burgers (sliders) at White Castle just isn’t going to be the same anymore…

From Wikipedia: In the United States, the additive itself cannot legally be sold directly to consumers. However, lean finely textured beef can constitute up to 15 percent of ground beef without additional labeling,15 and it can also be added to other meat products such as beef-based processed meats.
