    Warnings and overrides on trains, on tracks, actually have been around for a long time in various forms, as in “dead man” switches that shut the engines down, if the machines work that is.

    While cell phones and texting have already given us the “self driving car”, the thought of more cars controlled by their computers gives me a two-word response: “Windows” and “crash”. As in with the car driving you can look out your window in horror as the crash occurs, when “high tech”, fails again. And to think Microsoft may have done the programming? Grab your ankles and kiss, baby!
