My parents were wicked little devils when they were teens, so they raised me and my sister on the strictest standards. If I were to have kids, I’d be pretty liberal with them, knowing how unbearable all the rules and constant punishments were. So the pendulum swings, generation after generation.

True. The town I grew up in was so small when I did something wrong my parents knew about it before I got home from doing it.
