I never did understand that expression. If an idea is fully baked doesn’t that mean it’s better because more time has gone into the thought process? I’m so confused … :-(
Too many cooks spoil the half-baked meat and make it another man’s poison. So if a watched pot calls the kettle black, get out of the kitchen or it’ll never boil.
Pastiche is a dish best served cold, and too much of a good thing comes in small packages, so take it with a grain of salt and a spoonful of sugar (if you know which side of the bed you made is buttered).
