NightShade, I didnât do it on purpose, I just sort of outgrew TV. I just donât watch shows any more. Nothing wrong with itâŠIâve enjoyed all the great sitcoms over the yearsâŠ.But nowâŠmehâŠ..
Thank Gilligan that Breaking Bad had a credible ending! itâs amazing to me that writers canât come up with better endings for shows when given the chance. MASH was one of the better ones.
@NightShade09 Get the Mohu antenna or any similar antenna. You get whatever over the air broadcasts are available in your area for free and in HD. I watch Jeopardy every night and no Kardashians. These antennas run about $30-$50, depending on the model and no more bloated monthly cable or satellite fees. I dumped cable about 3 yrs. ago and never looked back.
They âLostâ me in the first season â first ABC started changing the time of the ending of the show and then the stupid arc started about that group already on the island. That was too much and I quit â I never went back â ever, not even to see if they had ârighted the shipâ.
I can explain the ending of Mad Men â Don was the genius behind the Coke Cola commercial âIâd Like to Teach The World to Singâ â that commercial defined a generation and summed up an era of hippies, free love, and getting in touch with your feelings.
Don Draper has the enigmatic smile on his face because while he is in meditation class trying to clear his mind he is instead dreaming up the âIâd Like to Teach the World to Singâ Coke commercial. The epitaphs show that while all the other characters have evolved and changed Don is stil basically the same person he was in the 50âs.
Someone need to explain the whole last season or two. I always felt I must have missed some important episodes, as there were characters who would show up for a three minute scene, out of any context, and I had no idea who they were.
