This is it, folks. The beginning of the end for The Simpsons. They’re losing all their talent either to death or contract disputes. Sad but with a quarter century worth of shows under their belt, they’ve had a good run.
Since “The Simpsons” is my favorite show, I was saddened by the news that Shearer is leaving. I really hope the show can hang on, but they’ve lost a number of characters lately. Keeping the positive vibes …
I needed help on the Skinner. But was chuckling away from Burns onwards. Nice homage. Boy, did Shearer do a lot of voices. Apu to Skinner and almost everyone inbetween. The show just might need more than one person to replace him. Pity Roy couldn’t do it. His character definitely has the heart for it.

Harry Shearer was the keystone to that show. It has ran its course and now it’s time to put it to rest.
