What’s it going to take Opal Earl’s dislike of the sheets? Maybe he’ll burn them or something?

Three strips about sheets and three strips about the fantastic anniversary trip they took to Hawaii. For people who usually only go as far as the park or the fabric store that was a BIG deal and now we’re hearing about sheets.

I’ve heard of people causing themselves more serious injury than Earl’s from those sheets. That’s why I’ll never get them. Just regular sheets in the summer and flannel sheets in the winter.

Satin sheets are not for sleeping, that’s for sure!

Women go for stuff like that. I just like plain old cotton sheets.

They work just fine on a waterbed, as you sink into it a bit. Did for me, lo those many years ago.

I have to admit – I like cotton sheets, but even better, I like them ironed. Sadly i haven’t seen ironed sheets for at least 20 years.
