    It’s a Pushmi-pullyu costume.

Again with the Schrodinger box. The costumes were in quantum flux and only clasped into this manifestation once the box was opened and the contents observed. Ah, you say, but what about the matter of what the person at the costume shop placed in the box? There’s the rub: There is no costume shop, no person packing the box! It all sprang as-is into Nancy’s reality because Bushmiller willed it so. Uncertainty principle begone! Ernie is God….

And Ernie does this from the singularity of a Black Hole, wherein the normal laws of physics do not apply?. I THOUGHT SO!

Pushmipullyu—haven’t heard that one since 4th grade (1954), when Dr. Doolittle went to Africa to treat the sick monkeys, incurred the wrath of the king there, and then had to deal with some Barbary pirates on the way back to Puddleby-on-the-Marsh, England. But he always had his pouch of snuff.

Well, be fair…if he was in 4th grade in ‘54, he’d have been well out of the target demographic by ‘67, and any kids he had wouldn’t likely be IN it, yet.

You don’t define the demographic you refer to… but I’d bet if you did, I’d be well outside it for both the film and TV versions. Besides, most here are, well, comics fans. Hey, we’re posting on “Nancy” for goodness’ sake! I doubt many of us are bound by marketers’ notions of age-appropriate subject matter. I’m all over Disney and Pixar stuff. You?
