Had a black bear in the yard Thursday evening. I’m in northern Maine, so we seem them often enough. This was the first time in the yard and I was lucky my dog didn’t see him.
Oh, I think the deer and elk will survive. I wish your bears would head east and thin out our fawns. Whitetail deer are just giant pests who take great joy in eating your plants, trying to jump through your car’s windshield and serving as a reservoir for Lyme disease.
