It's weird. People in TV and movies still run around doing all this stuff that real people do online now! Yes, but think- who's going to pay to go see a movie of somebody sitting at a computer doing... Well... Anything? Dad... Nobody goes to see a movie anymore. You stream them online.

Even the cops rely on the web to catch the “bad guys”. Why bother with all that detective work when Facebook and Google do it for you? My favorite are the ones who get caught because of their selfies.

I would pay to go watch a lot more often, if taking my family to see a movie at the theatre didn’t cost the equivalent of a week’s family dinner budget.
With a little patience, though, you can often pick up the same movies to own on DVD or BluRay six months later, at maybe as little as half of what a single theatre ticket would have cost, popcorn not included.
So, as we speak, “Interstellar” is lying pristine and unopened at home next to the TV, just waiting for me to watch it :)

It’s still better in the theater. Really big screen, comfie chairs (now a days), and the community of people who are also watching, laughing at the same jokes, etc.

Yeah, Toby, tell that to all the people that made Jurrasic World the highest-grossing opening weekend ever worldwide!
